Overview

VELCHIP® 224Mbps  High Speed Ethernet over Coaxial Cable TV (CATV) solutions, uses a combination of powerful technologies: Broadband over Powerline (BPL) and Hybrid Fiber-coaxial(HFC), fiber optic or coaxial cable.

The parallel use of emerging technologies provides significant benefits to customers. Using these solutions of broadband services into the client's home or business provides the best cost per home passed in the industry.

It offers the service provider tremendous flexibility and scalability from day one. The service can be deployed even with one customer only and grow from there.
Using the existing broadband whether Hybrid Fiber or coaxial cable network, it can construct bidirectional wide band communication based on 224Mbps high-speed IP access & connection of OFDM modulating technique.mDo not need extend the existing fiber network and station, PON ONU node could rely on the existing station . VELCHIP® transmission product ( V311M/S) and accessing& connecting product (V211M/S) could satisfy the EoC access & connect for different quantity of users.

VELCHIP® product (Master) can be used for any port of fiber and coaxial cable to realize high-speed IP access. User-end equipment(SLAVE) can be set up in any position over this network . The equipments such as electricity amplifier and
branch adapter will never influence the signal transmission of VELCHIP® product.

VELCHIP®  products will never influence the CATV signal. Cost of each line lower than the traditional DOCSIS mode. The integrated cost lower than the traditional
LAN mode, save LAN switches as well. Be easy for network management and development of value-added service .

Support (VLAN) wide band safe access, digital television bidirectional service and HDTV service. Support IPTV multicast with big data stream concurrent application; Support VoIP service & IPV6, will satisfy Ethernet wide band network standard in the
future (HomePlugAV, BPL, MoCA).

Operating Frequency

2 - 30MHz (VP2X series product), 800 - 1550MHz (VP3X series product) therefore does not need to transform existing unidirectional (active amplifier) HFC network, through using the  VELCHIP®   product, may pass through existing active and passive equipment, realize bidirectional high band width Ethernet communication.
